CT1

I currently work with the National Grid lead a change in the acoustic/noise controls in the UK and Ireland. We were installing their acoustic panels to the walls in underground compressor stations to reduce the noise created from the huge gas pipes moving gas around the country. These facilities do not often allow mechanical fixings and prefer us to us an adhesive that can meet the performance requirements and is not a hazardous substance or potentially harmful and that is why we recommend CT1. It was the only product that could do the job!

With 60mph winds and driving rain, a contemporary house in the heart of the conservation area of Tobermory, Isle of Mull, needed every protection possible. I found CT1 to be a brilliant product that could be used in the damp winter building conditions to bond and seal eaves skirts to roofing membranes, seal DPC’s and around bargeboards and cills. The fact that it was paintable was very important and it smoothed out very easily. Soon our building team only wanted to use CT1 and thankfully Travis Perkins in Oban became a stockist of it so we could easily get it here on the island.
