V9? #2999

Seems like everything in v8.x is available as open-source under the Apache 2.0 license here. No need to spend $130/seat/year for that. Are there better things to come? What's your value proposition? Your website says better security and scalability, but these are assertions. They exist only in Debug code, never to be released, How do you plan to enhance security or stability? This code will never run in Production. I'm sure a company as respected as XCeed has a solid plan to move this project forward. Please explain. |

That's a good point, we do plan on exposing our roadmap in the coming weeks and we will be welcoming feedbacks on what features you would like to see. Some features may even be ported in version 7.0! |

@xceedsoftware Thanks, that's good to know. However, I've just finished moving our entire estate onto AwesomeAssertions, which took a couple of days (40 repos). I'm looking forward to a bright future there, under an Apache 2.0 license. If I need new features, I'll contribute to their OSS effort. Best of luck with your new license. |
