A Hg occurrence located in sec. 4, T22S, R39E, MDM, on military reservation land (China Lake Naval Ordnance Test Station). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

NOTE: The USGS MRDS database and MAS-MILS files pertain to the geothermal resource of the deposit.

Mineralization is a Hg deposit in an active thermal area in rhyolite containing sulfates. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
