Comments:Fine, clear, fresh, short prismatic crystals in cavitiers in limestone (or calcite pegmatite); cleavages to 15 mm in blocks of pegmatite. Pseudomorphs of silica after the apophyllite preserve the birefringence and interference figure of the original apophyllite.
