Field Collecting

Uploaded by Jolyon RalphKola! 2017
Welcome to the Field Collecting Group!

The purpose of this group is for you to discuss everything about field collecting, from "Where in Hawaii can I go to collect minerals?" to "What's the best way to sharpen your chisels?".

Feel free to ask questions about your forthcoming trips or to write and tell us about your successful collecting adventures.

Please remember, you must always obtain permissions from the landowners, etc. before collecting on any private site. In general, we usually can't help you track down the owners - try contacting a local mineral club.
