This is the kind of journalism that can save democracy if we stand up for it. Those who hate on it also aren’t interested in truth or democracy. The world is breaking down and unfortunately most prefe...r to stay in denial. The rest of us can do something about it and the truths the Intercept is willing to report set us free to do so. The Intercept brings you the best news coverage. Often uncovering stories that are under reported at best, if at all by the ratings driven major corporate news. Whom cater to people's bias & seem to f...urther provoke the ever increasing polarization in this world. The Intercept always delivers thoughtful, unbiased news. An outlet you can count on to relay the entire story. See More

Many Anti-Israel reports without a single word on the Hamas and the highest leakage of undercover sources in the history of newspapers, make the intercept a well-intentioned but bad executed investiga...tive paper. There really are some great backgound reports, but this site gets instrumentalized way to often. See More

Just another source for fake news run by insane right wing interests designed to divide the people into groups and make us all hate each other under false pretences.

Sick of pro (US) war propaganda. Appreciate Glen Greenwald's pieces on Palestinian murderous treatment at the hands of Israelis occupiers. Also coverage of Brazil's corrupt government. How can you get... it right on some issues and totally blow it on others baffles me. Maybe get rid of 1%er at top. See More

I'm a longtime fan of the Jeremy Scahill, Naomi Kline, Glen Greenwald, Amy Goodman, Juan Gonzalez, news group. The Intercept has proven to be a great addition. I read most of their articles and listen... to every podcast episode. Thanks to them all for their integrity and courage. See More

I once thought TI gave the best independent reporting, but your continued equating Democrooks with progressives and pro-working class just shows how much of a Trojan Horse you are.

If one publication saves the world from World War 3 it will be the Intercept. The truth gets through via the reporting of Jeremy Scahill and Glenn Greenwald.

A typical left wing rag of snowflakes. I recently replied on the comments section to a Lee Fang article concerning Islam and Gates to be Institute. I had the audacity to not agree with Fang and called... Islam evil. For that, I was "banned". I did not use profanity. See More

Mostly great Investigative journalism. The Intercept operates outside of the U.S. (or so I've heard; it would not be a good idea to even try to report on Classified and Top Secret wrongdoing within t...he U.S.!). That's an indicator that the Intercept means business. This ain't the NYT or WaCompost! See More

One of the few news organizations actually dedicated to telling the truth. In a time when mainstream media (WSJ, CNN, Fox, MSNBC) have been so dedicated to manufacturing consent and superfluous conten...t, The Intercept talks the news like it is without the corporate bias that has infected the world. The 'Intercept' as an organization, may be a reasonable news worthy place to find information, however the interference by FaceBook censoring debate in its posts, sadly, means on this platform, it can...not be trusted if you wish to make comment. See More

Thorough and honest. From international war crimes to low level state and county corruption, the intercept is blowing whistles while most media platforms are mincing words.

Excellent, old fashioned investigative journalism, on crucial topics, with very much in depth knowledge, and real, personal, non automated, non robotized, non AI contact with people who leave feedback... on publications. See More

For me, this podcast loses credibility when you consider it's leading presenter is
capable of delivering unhinged, unplesant and offensive rants about non-muslims. Search YouTube "Mehdi Hasan animals..." to see what I am referring to. See More

Idiot Shaun King posts a fake news story claiming cops taped a woman and then was exposed after the body-camera and dashcam was released. Fire that fake black POS asap as he is nothing but poison.

This publication is endangering innocent Syrians by publishing pro-terrorist, Zionist war propaganda. The entire "fearless" staff also disgracefully refused to comment on the extensively documented 20...16 democratic primary rigging that occurred via computerized election theft; Glenn Greenwald asserted Clinton won "fairly" -- a despicable display of mendacity. One of the best independent news sources around. The Intercept is excellent journalism!

A dominant theme that emerged in Democratic Party discourse from the 2016 election is that it is essential to support female candidates and candidates of color. But these professed beliefs seem strangely absent from the 2018 election cycle.

Given its rhetoric, how does the party justify supporting white male machine politicians over credible female challengers, LGBT people, and people of color?

“I mean the fact of the matter is that North Korea, to borrow a phrase from Arundhati Roy, is a country that was sculpted from the spare rib of America’s aggressive foreign policy,” said UC Santa Cruz professor Christine Hong.

UC Santa Cruz professor Christine Hong, author Tom Engelhardt, journalist Elisabeth Rosenthal, and musician Yasmine Hamdan are this week's guests.
