Five Go Mad In Dorset (1982)
The first episode of The Comic Strip Presents... was broadcast on the launch night of Channel 4 itself: the Enid Blyton spoof Five Go Mad In Dorset.
Series 1 (1983)
After the initial pilot episode, a four part series followed early in 1983.
Series 2 (1983 - 1984)
Seven more episodes, including Five Go Mad On Mescalin, Dirty Movie, Susie and Slags.
1986 Specials (1986)
Consuela and Private Enterprise were shown on the 1st and 2nd of January 1986.
Series 3 (1988)
The Strike, More Bad News, Mr Jolly Lives Next Door, The Yob, Didn't You Kill My Brother? and Funseekers made up the third series.
Series 4 (1990)
There were six more episodes in 1990, including the South Atlantic Raiders episodes, Spaghetti Hoops and Les Dogs. This series saw The Comic Strip transfer to the BBC, rather than being shown on Channel 4.
1992 Specials (1992)
There were three Comic Strip episodes scattered through 1992, namely Red Nose Of Courage, The Crying Game and Wild Turkey.
Series 5 (1993)
Six more episodes on the BBC, including Space Virgins From Planet Sex, Demonella and Jealousy.
Four Men In A Car (1998)
In 1998 the original team reunited and returned to Channel 4 for a one-off special, Four Men In A Car.
Four Men In A Plane (2000)
Four Men In A Plane sees four salesmen share a flight from hell on their way to a conference.
...Sex Actually (2005)
Another one-off special, ...Sex Actually, appeared in 2005, five years after the previous outing.
The Hunt For Tony Blair (2011)
In 2011 Channel 4 presented The Hunt For Tony Blair, a 50s-style film noir satire about the ex-Prime Minister and his 'war crimes'.
Five Go To Rehab (2012)
The original Comic Strip team reunited in 2012 for a follow-up to the two Famous Five spoofs, 30 years since the series first launched - and this time on GOLD.
