Cant verify Email address
[edit]I'm trying to verify my email address however when I click the link it always brings me to a page that says "Invalid confirmation code. The code may have expired". I'm clicking on the link as soon as it is in my inbox so I don't know why it would say this. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way to fix it? Dtosic04 (talk) 17:09, 4 January 2026 (UTC)

Global watchlist
[edit]Hi , my global watchlist seems to get some issues. I have added all projects I want to track. But when a edit goes through, on my talk page for example, it is not shown in the global watchlist. On mobile it also says it gets API issue. How can I fix this API issue? I tried using mobil data as well, there was no difference. Wlaak (talk) 19:16, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
- It now seems that when something happens on the English Wikipedia in my Watchlist, it gets labeled as "sv.wikipedia.org" (Swedish) and the article gets auto translated to Swedish, but when I press it takes me to enWiki. Wlaak (talk) 11:37, 11 February 2026 (UTC)
the X is too small on mobile devices
[edit]I only like to make a small proposal: for all of the banners (I mostly know the ones appearing on German Wikipedia), the X that one can tap to close it is much too small. It almost never works to tap it, instead it usually clicks the text instead and then another page opens. I tried both iPhone with Safari and Android with Firefox. I mean banners like this one: MediaWiki:Centralnotice-template-WM2026Program banner. (If you know a better place for my proposal, you can move it to the correct destination.)--Vergänglichkeit (talk) 21:30, 20 February 2026 (UTC)
- I second that. Or a bigger clickable margin would make a big difference. - Erik Baas (talk) 09:32, 21 February 2026 (UTC)
Exclude a specific filter from the log?
[edit]I often patrol for vandalism and spam through Special:AbuseLog, and today I find the feed is overwhelmed with hits to filter 449 (archive.today tracking); I see there's an option to view only specific filters, but I don't see a way to invert the selection (i.e. to exclude filter 449). Does anyone know of a setting or user script that would resolve this? Thanks. lp0 on fire () 10:53, 21 February 2026 (UTC)
