Slick, icy roads are bringing chain controls and closures to many roads in and around the Sierra.
Winter weather has caused off-and-on closures of I-80 west that have put many truckers behind, some by multiple days.
Both SPCA of Northern Nevada locations will be closed on Thursday due to the weather.
