Of the 22 confirmed measles cases, most involve those ages 17 and younger and primarily among those who are not vaccinated against measles. Confirmed cases have been determined in Bumcombe, Cabarrus, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Nash, Polk, Rowan and Union counties.
